Founded in 1986 by Liz Galbraith and Ephraim Paul, Galbraith & Paul is a Philadelphia-based design studio devoted to original textile design and the art of hand block printing. The studio produces three product lines for the design trade: Handblock and Ready to Wear Fabrics and Wallpapers. 

Galbraith & Paul first reached the UK in the late 1990s when Nina Campbell introduced their cushions to London, encouraging Liz and Ephraim to develop repeat patterns for yardage and tables. This support became a turning point in their creative journey and established the studio on the international design map. The studio remains at the heart of the business, where every stage from designing patterns to printing is guided by a love of process and a commitment to craftsmanship. Galbraith & Paul’s textiles are rooted in colour, texture, and the joy of making, creating pieces that bring warmth and character to interiors.
